The Parish Prayer Meeting It was decided at the prayer meeting on Monday to continue weekly

every Monday at 1.00 pm at the back of St Pauls Church.  All are welcome.

Youth Alpha Thursday, 6.30-8.15 fun, games and exploration.

Macmillan Coffee Morning at Parish Centre on Saturday September 23rd.

Please come along and support between 10.30 and 2pm.  If you would like to volunteer to help or

provide cakes or prizes please contact Karen on 7500281949.

Parish Records: From time to time, under the Data Protection Act, it becomes necessary for us to check,

amend and update our Parish Register.  In the future to help with environmental issues and to save paper

we may use an email address to contact you. When we get details annually for the Electoral Roll we obviously

cross-check but not everyone is on the Electoral Roll. If you think we may need to update your records you will

find forms available in both churches. Should you wish to have an electronic copy of the weekly newsletter

please tick the appropriate box on the form. Please hand the completed information to any of our church

wardens by the end of September

or you can send the form to sonningson@ntlworld.com. Sonia Jones

Parish Records Officer

The Alter Flower Guild Many of the flowers that you see in church each week are donated by

parishioners in memory of family and friends.  If you would like to give flowers in someone’s name

please contact Barbara Pyott and she can give you details..

In light of the rising cost of flowers, it would be very helpful to receive donationsfor the major church festivals

 - Christmas, Easter and Harvest.

If anyone has surplus garden produce which they could give towards this year’s Harvest (October 1st)

it would be much appreciated. Please contact Anita  and she can arrange for its collection from your house.

HELP! We need more volunteers to keep our lovely church clean.

I am trying to involve people just once a month, for an hour and a half only. Could you please give it some

thought and if this is something that you think you could help us with, please contact me.

Thank you so much. Jude Gilbody

HURRICAN DISASTER APPEAL:  Thank you to everyone who responded so generously

to last Sunday’s appeal to equip a “SHELTER BOX” to aid the emergency in the Caribbean,

For those who were not in church last Sunday we are extending the Appeal to today.

Information for St Paul’s can be found at the back of the church near the South Door,

along with “I O U” forms if required.  Please make cheques payable to St Paul’s Church,

Sketty indicating whether you wish to Gift Aid your donation by completing the envelope provided.
