Following a varied and successful programme this Summer to round off the season I would like to remind you about next Saturday’s beautiful walk planned for Cefn Bryn then down to Perriswood, through the Penrice Estate and across to Mill Wood and back up to the King Arthur at Reynoldston for the chance of a bite to eat.
Meet at the car park at the Parish Centre at 2pm or near Post Office in Reynoldston at 2:30pm. Please wear waterproof boots and waterproof clothing – just in case!!! This is a 5 mile walk covering a variety of terrains. If weather looks poor please call me to confirm that it is on. (07968231192 – texts are better.) Also please let me know if you intend meeting us at Reynoldston – again texts are best.
Stephen Miles and I did the recce walk last week and the weather was superb and the views really good, but this walk does need some dry weather so let’s pray that it is good this week and for the walk on Saturday.
If you would like a meal in the King Arthur please let me know on the day at the start of the walk.
Thanks for your support of this walking group again this year – I have so enjoyed our conversations and our joint appreciation of creation, our wonderful countryside and wildlife. I have especially enjoyed the antics of the young people, although the perching on the rocks at Tor Bay did take my nerves to the limit!!!
